I hope what it follows here can be of inspiration to fellow artists, students and curators

The other day I read a text by Wade Wallerstein on ANTImateria about digital curatorial practices (see above).

I have collaborated with a series of projects totally based online that were challanging the potentiality of the web and internet for “circumventing the whitecube” or at least by pass it or just extending the realm of spaces for art exhibitions. I can recall the project Major Tendons by NewHive curated by Molly Soda.

Carry on on NewHive, Nargifsus (see above) curated by Tina Sauerländer “expanding” Carla Gannis show at TRANSFER in New York.

SPAMM (SuPer Art Modern Museum) by Systaime with its online and afk shows. (see above)

Also After Prince by Domenico Quaranta (see above)

Those are just some examples of the projects I took part in as artists and curator. I am working on two others projects that will use the webpage as exhibition space. One on the darknet, the other on my personal website.

On the darknet there will be my upcoming online museum of of neapolitan hacks, P3ZZ8 — PIRATES OF THE NAPLES BAY. HACKING AND PIRACY IN NAPOLI, you can read an abstract here above. The idea is that of creating a museum with personal documentations, invinting people in sharing their materials and build a self and cooperative runned museum. This gallery was already online few months ago but it went offline for technical issues. It is a gallery I am buidling up with the help of Dina Karadzic and Vedran Gligo, creators and curators of Fu:bar/expo and Inquiry Inc., for their darknet project PIVILION

The one on my personal website is The White Page Gallery (see above). It is basically a collaboration point where personal space becomes common space. The White Page Gallery is my space for your curatorial projects hosted on my website. I believe it is important for artists and curators to rethink the concept of space and personal space outside the social media landscape in terms of collaborations and cooperations. But also support, networks, nodes, and the very famous visibility. We can build our own space without having to sell ourselves to social media!
